Gints Zilbalodis is a Latvian independent filmmaker and animator who gained international acclaim for his debut feature film "Away" (2019), which he created almost entirely by himself using Blender. "Flow" follows a cat navigating a flooded world and was created with a slightly larger team but still maintained the independent spirit that defines Zilbalodis's work. His films are meditative, wordless journeys that explore themes of solitude, resilience, and connection.
